U-15 Pre-Season Rankings

We have compiled a list of the top-ranked teams in the MLS Next league, considering their performance in the previous season as well as some of the pre-season tournaments and matches. It's important to note that this evaluation is focused on the U-15 age group, which represents the incoming 2009 class.

LAFC consistently generates exceptionally high-level academy products, and the current incoming class shows remarkable promise. The LAFC 2009’s team participated in the 2023 MLS NEXT Cup in Texas, where they reached the semi-finals despite competing against teams a year older. Their journey was eventually halted by the national champions, the New York Red Bulls.

Atlanta United has cultivated an exciting and rapidly advancing U-15 squad. Most notably, they clinched victory in the U-14 Patterson Cup, a tournament in which Sporting Kansas City, Chicago Fire, and Houston Dynamo also participated.
