The Young Professionals Set to Shine in Playoffs
With MLS NEXT Pro playoffs in full effect, it's time we take a look at some of the stars that are set to take over this postseason and push their teams to the finish line. Alongside that, generational talent is forming in front of our eyes which is setting the CONMEBOL Championships ablaze at the moment. All while new transfers are set to make a splash across the whole MLS NEXT league.

MLS NEXT Pro announced yesterday the matchups and schedule for the first round of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs, with the eight conference quarterfinal matches scheduled for Sunday, October 20.
Given the influence of young prospects in the league, we’ve created a list of the top 10 players to watch in the playoffs under the age of 17 years old.
Chase Adams (Columbus Crew 2): In his first season as a professional, Adams has been the leading scorer (amongst players 17 and younger) in MLS NEXT Pro with nine goals and two assists in 19 games. The center forward has been prolific so far this season and has shined in his overall forward play. Adams is expected to be a key piece for Columbus Crew 2 in their quest for another championship.
