Rising Star Robert Turdean Lights Up the Pitch

The young forward has been the talk this weekend, being only a 14-year-old player, born in 2010, he debuted and scored in his first game with the Chicago Fire U-17 team. Chicago Fire managed to beat Indy Eleven 4-0 on their visit to Indiana. Damyan Villanueva scored a brace, Aaron Ineh scored in the 25th minute and in the 82nd minute the young forward Turdean scored the final 4-0. Robert Turdean, who has participated in the U-15 national team and is the Chicago Fire U-15's top scorer.

Among other results this weekend, Los Angeles FC U-17 beat the San Jose Earthquakes 3-2 in what was one of the main duels of the weekend. Tomo Allen at minute 10 and Chance Cowell at minute 23 put the San Jose Earthquakes ahead, but after a very impressive individual performance, Mexican-American forward James Arteaga scored a hat-trick and managed to make the final score 3-2 for Los Angeles.

San Jose Earthquakes U-15 beat Los Angeles FC 2-1 after the scores of two players from the U-15 US national youth team, Kaedren Spivey and Jorge Torres made 2-0 partial for the team. At the beginning of the second half, Los Angeles FC's top scorer, Darian Rus placed the final score at 2-1.

D.C. United and Philadelphia Union U-17 played out a 1-1 draw in a close game of the weekend. Alexis Gonzalez scored an own goal in the 72nd minute but minutes later Christopher Argueta equalized the score for D.C. United.

Philadelphia Union U-15 beat D.C. United 5-0 after brilliant performances by Malik Jakupovic and Tyler Gladstone, both scored two goals and Charlie Rihn scored the final 5-0 in the 66th minute.

Real Salt Lake U-17 beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 6-0 with excellent performances from Owen Anderson and Chase Duke. Duke managed to score a hat-trick while Owen Anderson scored a brace. Central defender Finn O'Brien scored the remaining goal for a very impressive result for Real Salt Lake.

First Identification Camp for the U-14 Youth National Team

80 players have been selected for what will be the first national identification camp for players born in 2010. The camp will be held in Marietta, Georgia.

The camp will be divided into 4 zones (central, west, east and south) in which each has 20 players who will compete in a series of friendly matches internally.

Among the most notable names are Robert Turdean, who has already participated with the U-15 youth national team, Olumuyiwa Ajayi, one of the best goalkeepers born in 2010 and who plays with NYCFC U-15, Jamil Danjaji, one of the best MLS Next U-15 forwards and playing against players a year older, the inclusion of Da'vian Kimbrough, the youngest player in history to debut professionally in the United States and who had previously been with the Mexican youth national teams. Also present will be Lisandro Torres from LAFC, Vicente Garcia and Juan Martinez from LA Galaxy, Xavier Gomez and Sammy Guevara both from FC Dallas who were previously with Mexico U-15.
