Austin FC’s Viggo Ortiz to represent the Mexico National Team

The U-15 Mexican National Team has selected Viggo Ortiz, a talented player from the Austin FC academy, to participate in their upcoming camp. Viggo had an exceptional 2022/23 season, achieving notable accomplishments such as winning the Generations Adidas Cup, being awarded the MVP of the tournament, and showcasing his skills with the U-17 Austin FC academy, where he contributed with multiple assists. His outstanding performance has now earned him a call-up to represent the Mexican National Team.

While Viggo has not yet received a call-up to the United States Youth National Team, it appears that he may have the opportunity to compete against the United States in the upcoming U-15 Concacaf Championships. This tournament presents a significant chance for him to showcase his abilities on the international stage.
