The U-15 final will be remembered as one of the most memorable finals in the history of MLS Next playoffs. The New York Red Bulls showcased their dominance against CF Montréal throughout most of the match. However, despite facing adversity, the New York Red Bulls refused to be discouraged and managed to achieve a miraculous comeback. 

Real Colorado showcased one of the most impressive performances throughout the tournament, spanning across all age groups, despite being a non-MLS academy. They emerged as a formidable force by eliminating renowned teams such as Austin FC, St. Louis City, and Orlando City. Although they fell short of clinching the championship, their remarkable display in Frisco unquestionably demonstrated their true value and potential.

Footy Access Team of the Season

The 2022/23 Footy Access Team of the Season, carefully selected by esteemed scouts in the industry, has been unveiled. This team represents the finest players in the U-15 age group, who have consistently delivered exceptional performances throughout the 2022/23 season, spanning from August 2022 to June 2023. These talented individuals have showcased remarkable skills and a commendable level of play, both with their clubs and national teams.

The roster predominantly consists of players born in 2008, with one exceptional talent from 2009 named Cavan Sullivan. The attacking trio at the forefront of the team have collectively netted an impressive tally of 74 goals during the season. Julian Hall and Tanner Rosborough have each contributed 25 goals, closely followed by Anisse Saidi with 24 goals. Additionally, the Team of the Season includes Isaiah Kaakoush, an outstanding player from a non-MLS academy. Isaiah has made notable appearances with the USYNT, demonstrated remarkable versatility by playing three years up for Barca Residency Academy, and has accumulated an impressive record of over 30 assists and 12 goals. Notably, he also had the opportunity to train at La Masia in February.
