Young Stars Rise: Pre-Season Unveils Promising Performances

The pre-season has witnessed promising performances from young talents within MLS and USL teams. Nimfasha Berchimas notably scored his maiden goal for the first team in a friendly against Phoenix Rising and featured prominently in matches against the San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy. Nimfasha is in great form leading into the MLS season and could make his MLS debut for the first team in their home opener on Saturday at Bank of America Stadium.

Harbor Miller marked his presence by netting his first goal for the first team in a 2-2 draw against New York City FC. Miller, only 16-years-old, has been escalating quickly up the ranks after winning MLS NEXT Cup over the summer with the U-17 squad, being named MVP of the tournament. He would then debut in July for the second team, marking his professional debut. Fast forward to the first-team and has showed no signs of slowing down.

Isaiah Kaakoush showcased his abilities by starting two out of three games for Phoenix Rising and contributing to their efforts against Minnesota United, despite the team's 2-1 defeat. Phoenix Rising has made it priority to feature the young center-back and hasn’t looked out of his depth against MLS players.
